Statistically-anisotropic tensor bispectrum from inflation

چکیده

Abstract We develop a possibility of generating tensor non-Gaussianity in kind anisotropic inflation, where (1) gauge field is kinetically coupled to spectator scalar field. Owing this coupling, the coherent mode electric appears and softly breaks isotropy Universe. compute bispectrum linearly-polarized perturbations sourced by find that it strongly red-tilted has distinctive statistical anisotropies including higher-order multipole moments. Interestingly, bispectra with specific combinations linear polarization modes are dominant, their amplitudes depend on different sets This new type statistically-anisotropic can be potentially testable upcoming cosmic microwave background B-mode experiments.

Cosmic microwave background bispectrum and inflation

We derive an expression for the non-Gaussian cosmic microwave background ~CMB! statistic I l 3 defined recently by Ferreira, Magueijo, and Górski in terms of the slow-roll-inflation parameters e and h . This result shows that a nonzero value of I l 3 in COBE would rule out single-field slow-roll inflation. A sharp change in the slope of the inflaton potential could increase the predicted value ...

The Cosmic Microwave Background Bispectrum and Inflation

We derive an expression for the non-Gaussian cosmic-microwave-background (CMB) statistic I3 l defined recently by Ferreira, Magueijo, and Górski in terms of the slow-roll-inflation parameters ǫ and η. This result shows that a nonzero value of I3 l in COBE would rule out single-field slow-roll inflation. A sharp change in the slope of the inflaton potential could increase the predicted value of ...

Trispectrum versus bispectrum in single-field inflation

In the standard slow-roll inflationary cosmology, quantum fluctuations in a single field, the inflaton, generate approximately Gaussian primordial density perturbations. At present, the bispectrum and trispectrum of the density perturbations have not been observed and the probability distribution for these perturbations is consistent with Gaussianity. However, Planck satellite data will bring a...

Cosmic microwave background bispectrum and slow roll inflation

Recent tentative findings of non-Gaussian structure in the COBE-DMR dataset have triggered renewed attention to candidate models from which such intrinsic signature could arise. In the framework of slow roll inflation with built-in non linearities in the inflaton field evolution we present expressions for both the cosmic microwave background (CMB) skewness and the full angular bispectrum C`1`2`...
